This recipe came about when I was sitting at home craving something culturally sound, but not wanting the grease that usually is accompanied with falafel. So I decided to bake it!
* * * Ingredients:
-2 cups chopped parsley -3 cloves pinched garlic -1/4 cup chopped walnuts -15 oz garbanzo beans -1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt -1 freshly squeezed lemon -sprinkle of coriander (add more to your liking) -2 tsp cumin
Directions:
1. Gather all necessary ingredients and process in a food processor until the texture is smooth and clear of lumps 2. Create patties 3. Grease a pan with grass-fed butter or Ghee 4. Optional ** *brush the tops of the patties with a beaten egg, will help it to be a bit more crispier since we aren't frying them. 5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes
BUT WAIT... we can't forget a sauce to go along with it
