-1/4 of an onion -1 large potato shredded (can use sweet potato) -1/2 cup shredded carrots -1/4 tsp turmeric -1/4 tsp black pepper -1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt -Half an avocado -Cherry tomatoes -1 egg
Preparation:
To make the hash brown gather the onion, potato, carrot, turmeric, salt, and pepper and mix. Form patties and toss into a skillet filled with grass-fed butter. The has brown does not hold together perfectly, so try to not flip it until it has cooked well on one side and formed a solid shape. (***optional: can toss the whole mix and cook it as one huge hash brown mix. This is great if you're cooking for a larger group, instead of going through the hassle to make separate hash-browns). On my has brown I spread some cream cheese on it, and topped it with green onions. In my bowl I also included a fried egg cooked in grass fed butter, cherry tomatoes, half an avocado, sauerkraut, and a few slices of grapefruit. And... of course I seasoned my egg with "everything but the bagel".
